ROLES: Set-Dresser/Level Artist, Narrative Designer, Producer/Art Director, and Environment Artist
As part of a group project, the brief was to create Victorian London based on Penny Dreadful and Sherlock Holmes. We used Perforce to collaborate as some group members worked remotely from across the globe. As the narrative designer, I researched the plots of Penny Dreadful and crafted characters and a storyline to be portrayed in the game scene and created by the character students. This then aided my role as the set-dresser/level artist, as I was then able to visually story-tell using the environment layout and asset arrangement. I was also in charge of the carriage and the shop of Dr Sweet - a zoologist with a sinister pastime.
